Example: I wanted 4 variations so I entered: 4 to generate four images at once.

• Specify the Medium: Mention the medium of the artwork, such as “oil painting,” “watercolor,” or “digital art.” This helps set the style and texture.
• Define the Style: Indicate the artistic style you want, like “impressionist,” “surreal,” or “abstract.” This influences the overall look and feel.
• Include Artist Names: If you want to emulate a particular artist’s style, include their name in the prompt. For example, “in the style of Leonardo da Vinci.”
• Mention Platform or Context: If the image is for a specific platform, mention it. For instance, “a website banner” to tailor the image to the platform’s aesthetic.

When I navigated to the Search and Replace feature, I found it very intuitive. Here’s a detailed guide on how to use it effectively:

Start by generating or selecting an image you want to edit using Stable Artisan tools. For example, I wanted to replace an element in an image I generated with the prompt “a strong man beside a lion”.

In the Discord chat, I used the command designed for search and replace.

the tool processed the image and replaced the specified object. I reviewed the output to ensure it met my expectations. If the replacement isn’t perfect, just refine the prompt by adding more details or adjusting the descriptions, which improves accuracy.

Remove Background :

First, choose the image from which you want to remove the background. This can be an image generated within Stable Artisan or one you upload. For instance, I selected an image of a horse riding on the shoulders of an astronaut.

In the Discord chat, you don’t need to type a command. Instead, you can click the “Remove Background” button shown in the interface. This button is conveniently located among other editing options such as “Search and Replace” and “Creative Upscale.”

The tool automatically detected and isolated the foreground elements, removing the background. I reviewed the output to ensure the background was removed to my satisfaction. and I was surprised by the precision :

Creative Upscale :

First, choose the image you want to upscale creatively. This can be an image generated within Stable Artisan or one you upload. For instance, I selected the image of the astronaut riding the horse .

When I clicked the “Creative Upscale” button, a prompt appeared where I could enter details for the upscaling process. For example, I could enter a new prompt to add creative elements, such as “little horse” and set the creativity level from 1 to 100.

After submitting the prompt, the tool processed the image, enhancing it with the specified creative elements. The result was an image that included new artistic details. For example, I used the prompt “little horse” with a creativity level of 100%, and the image was transformed with enhanced artistic elements and a dynamic background.

Here’s the result of using Creative Upscale:

Outpainting

When I clicked the “Outpainting” button, a set of options appeared to specify the direction in which I wanted to expand the image. The options included “Outpaint All,” “Up,” “Down,” “Left,” and “Right.” These options allow you to add new content to the selected direction, blending it seamlessly with the original image, which helps in minimizing artifacts and signs of editing.

To specify the number of pixels to outpaint in each direction, you can choose values from 0 to 2000 pixels for left, right, up, or down. Additionally, you can control the creativity of the outpainted sections by setting a value between 0 and 1, with the default being 0.5. This controls the likelihood of creating additional details not heavily conditioned by the initial image.

When providing a prompt, you can detail what you wish to see in the output image, including elements, colors, and subjects. Weighting specific words can influence their importance in the final image. For instance, using “sky (blue:0.3) and (green:0.8)” will result in a sky that is more green than blue.

You can also use a specific seed value to guide the ‘randomness’ of the generation, ensuring consistent results if the same seed is reused. If you omit this parameter or pass 0, the tool will use a random seed.  this is the image before the full outpainting :

Finally, you can choose the output format for your generated image, with options including JPEG, PNG, and WEBP. The default output format is PNG. Here’s the result after using the Outpainting tool:

Start by uploading or creating a sketch that you want to transform into a high-quality image. This can be a hand-drawn or digital sketch. In the Discord chat, click the “reuse as Sketch” button.

This will prompt you to attach your sketch image and specify any optional settings to fine-tune the transformation. The tool will then process the sketch, enhancing details and textures to create a polished image.

To preserve the structure of an image while adding new content or details, start by selecting the base image. This is particularly useful for maintaining the integrity of complex images.

Click the “Reuse as Structure” button in the Discord chat. Attach the base image and specify any optional settings to ensure the structure is preserved. The tool will generate new content while keeping the key elements of the original image intact.

Start by selecting the images you want to use to create the video. These images can be generated within Stable Artisan or uploaded from your device. For example, I used a sequence of images of a man riding a horse.

In the Discord chat, click the “Video” button. This initiates the video generation process.

The tool processes the images and generates a short video. Review the video to ensure it meets your expectations. If necessary, you can adjust the settings and regenerate the video.
